Week 22 - Food: Protein
Protein is so important for muscle maintenance and growth. Don’t skimp on protein. You have so many options here, meat, nuts, eggs, fish, nut butters, and beans. If you are storing beans as your protein be sure to store rice when we get to grains because beans are not a complete protein and you need rice to contribute the rest of the nutrients.
This week store 5 pounds of protein per family member.
