Week 23: Cheese


Diets rich in milk and other dairy products help build and maintain bone mass, reduce the risk of osteoporosis, build teeth, and help maintain healthy blood pressure. Add 2 pounds of cheese to your General Store this week. Decide which cheeses you use most often. You may choose to store waxed cheese, wax your own cheese, or freeze your cheese. Frozen cheese will crumble when defrosted but works great for topping casseroles or spaghetti, garnishing tacos or onion soup, macaroni and cheese, and even grilled cheese sandwiches.
